This was such a great experience!!!  We both had never been a part of a flashmob before…. and it was so amazing to see how many people came out to participate!!  The routine was choreographed by our good friends Olivier and Virginie Massart to the song “Want To Want Me” by Jason DeRulo.  The choreography was released at the French Open last year….and people all around the world learned it and organized their own flashmobs in their city.  Last year, there were over 3,000 dancers in 78 cities throughout 23 countries!!!  The count is still happening from yesterday’s flashmob, but it seems like more people were involved this year!!  This is all such a wonderful way to spread our dance and bring more people into this awesome community!

In Lyon, the routine was done in two different parts of downtown.  Both had a lot of dancers in attendance, but the second was an amazing venue and some great pictures were taken to show just how many people were there!

After all the flashmob fun, we taught two workshops and had a party and Perga’s Dance School.  We had a lot of fun with all the local dancers in Lyon!  It was a nice way to end the summer and kickoff the new season of dancing with good friends!!  Can’t wait to do it again with everyone 😉
